Warriors, Mages & Bards was an idea about 12 years ago and had stayed in the back of my head until April 2008! I have been to many medieval fairs and renaissance festivals in my time. I enjoy the atmosphere, the people, the food and the hand crafted products made by real artisans. I picked up many hobbies due to my fair going experiences including leather working, chainmail making, wood working, and hand-stitching. I have always been fascinated by working with these materials and by others who I encountered at the festivals. I appreciate master craftsmen and craftswomen because of their attention to detail and ethics for high quality products. Quality and good ethics are very rare in this day and age where everything is disposable and too overpriced for its lack of excellence. I have always been excited by different genres of things from the time periods I like to call “back in the day” which never refers to a specific time in history, but more of a general feeling where ancient and medieval eras blend nicely with many realms of fantasy. I love armor, divination tools, talisman, writing, singing, scrolls, leather, metal, stones and wood. When I began making items for myself, I found that I loved too many things to only focus on one type of genre. So I made things for warriors, mages, and bards of all types. And now I can share these things with you! And that is how Warriors, Mages & Bards came to be.
